Climate

Zanzibar has typical tropical climate thanks to its location slightly south of the equator: high temperatures and high humidity. Temperatures range between 27° and 32° Celsius throughout the year during the day. At night, the temperature drops to a pleasant 22° to 25° degrees.

The climate in the Indian Ocean is characterized by the Monsoon, which brings two rainy seasons to Zanzibar: usually from April to May and October to November.

However, this does not mean that it rains the entire day or for several days in a row. The rainfalls in October are basically short refreshing breaks during a very sunny day. March and November are the best months to snorkel and scuba dive in clear, peaceful waters.
